    1. Storage

    When storing a used battery, discharge it by 50% first and store it in a cool, dry place. This tip applies when you need to stop using the battery for less than 30 days.


    2. Maintain

    Tips 1: Nickel Cadmium or Nickel Metal Hydride: 14-16 hours on first charge.

    Lithium-ion battery and Lithium polymer battery: When charging for the first time, the indicator light turns green and then charge for an additional 1-2 hours.

    Tips 2: When storing used batteries, discharge them to 50% first and store them in a cool, dry place. This tip applies when you need to stop using the battery for less than 30 days.

    Tips 3: Please remove the battery from the charger after each normal charge. Continued overcharging will shorten the life of the battery. Therefore, please do not use the charger as a base for the walkie-talkie.

    Tip 4: Before charging, stabilize the battery at a room temperature of about 22°C. Charging below 4°C or above 40°C will reduce battery life.
