Definition
IP refers to the protection security level. IP is the abbreviation of Ingress Protection Rating, which defines the protection capability of an interface against liquid and solid particles.
IP is by 2 digits, the first is the solid state protection level, the range is 0-6, respectively representing the protection from large particles of foreign matter to dust; the second is the liquid protection level, the range is 0-8, respectively representing Protection from vertical water droplets to bottom pressure. ability.
1. Protection level (the first number in the code)
| 0 | No protection |
| 1 | Prevent solid particles with a diameter of 50mm or larger |
| 2 | Prevent solid particles with a diameter of 12.5mm or larger |
| 3 | Prevent solid particles with a diameter of 2.5mm or larger |
| 4 | Prevent solid particles with a diameter of 1mm or larger |
| 5 | Dust protection: It cannot completely prevent dust from entering, but it will not hinder the normal operation of the instrument and reduce the safety. |
| 6 | Dust imprisonment: Dust cannot enter the object. The entire diameter of the object cannot exceed the gap of the shell. |
